Victoria Beckham grateful for the character of Posh Spice | Celebrities
Victoria Beckham has “a lot of appreciation” for Posh Spice.
The 47-year-old fashion designer – who has children Brooklyn, 22, Romeo, 19, Cruz, 16, and Harper, 10 with husband David Beckham – credits her Spice Girls character for making her more confident in her choices and thinks that having an alter ego has “accelerated” her to believe in herself.
She said: “I have so much appreciation for Posh. At the time, I was young and quite shy, so having Posh Spice as a character accelerated me to find my self-confidence and self-confidence. me.
“I’ve always loved fashion and beauty, and becoming Posh Spice taught me to trust my instincts and embrace my passions.”
And Victoria is hoping her daughter will one day want to wear her old stage costumes.
She added, “Our wardrobe was amazing. My mom has an archive of my Spice Girl looks that Harper might one day like to dress in.”
The brunette beauty also admitted that she was “happy” to have made a good impression on “Spiceworld: The Movie” actor Richard E. Grant, who recently insisted she was way funnier than his reputation as a “po-face” would not let it be believed.
She told the Australian Daily Telegraph: “Those who know me know that I am actually quite the opposite and I’m glad Richard agrees.”
The “Withnail and I” actor praised Victoria for being “really funny” in a recent interview and admitted that he “loved” working on the film with her and her fellow Spice Girl bandmates, Geri Horner, Melanie C , Mel B and Emma Bunton.
He said last month: “Victoria was really funny. So this reputation that she got for being po-face and not giving much is so at odds with the person I worked with. I absolutely adored her.
