The model, 20, worked a full head of big curls and a sheer silver dress by Alexander McQueen as she attended the New York-based event on Monday.

Kaia worked the iconic staircase at The Metropolitan Museum Of Art like it was a runway as she posed up a storm in her elaborate dress.

The beauty really embraced this year’s theme – “golden glamour” – in a metallic lace dress that showed off her physique.

The stunning dress cascaded over her sculpted body and down to the floor.

Although there was no train, Kaia still got to have some fun with it by opening the skirt to show off a leg.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit, also known as the Met Gala, is considered by many to be the “Super Bowl of celebrity red carpets.”

Fashion’s biggest night is traditionally held on the first Monday in May to raise money for the Costume Institute in New York, with last year’s event being moved to September due to the pandemic.

This year’s dress code is “golden glamour” to match the theme “In America: A Fashion Anthology,” a continuation of last year’s “In America: A Fashion Lexicon.”

Tickets for the glitzy event can cost up to $35,000 each, while prices for a table range from $200,000 to $300,000, with last year’s party bringing in $16.4 million for the Met’s Costume Institute.

Regina King, power couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, and Lin-Manuel Miranda host this time, succeeding Timothée Chalamet, Billie Eilish, Amanda Gorman and Naomi Osaka.

This will be Miranda’s first time serving as co-chair (and guest) of the Met Gala, but it was originally planned to co-host the 2020 edition before the pandemic forced its cancellation.

Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour again oversees the benefit as chairwoman, a position she has held since 1995. Her fellow honorary co-chairmen are designer Tom Ford and Instagram executive Adam Mosseri.

As usual, the sartorial theme comes from the exhibition launched by the gala: “In America: An Anthology of Fashion”, which is the second of star curator Andrew Bolton’s two-part exhibition exploring the roots of American style. .
