The East Moriches studio’s FUNdraiser Dance Party supports 11-year-old Bradley Wolmart, who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in June, and his family. Bradley turned 11 on July 9 and the community has done their best to take him and his loved ones under their wing.
Sunday July 11 “Bradley’s big day in the car” The anniversary celebration saw dozens and dozens of vehicles drive past Bradley’s house in Mastic Beach, bringing birthday greetings and putting a smile on the youngster’s face. Bradley has pediatric glioblastoma. He underwent surgery in April 2020 to remove the brain tumor, then underwent months of chemotherapy and radiation therapy, but doctors informed Bradley’s family last month that the tumor had returned and could not be operated on. because of its location on his brain.
In recent weeks, more than 170 donors have contributed over $ 13,000 on a GoFundMe page established by Bradley’s father, Richard. This week, the family reported that the Pepsi Company made an assortment of donations to raffle off at the July 15 fundraiser, including an Evian bike, Pepsi barbecue, Gatorade barrel cooler, barrel cooler. Pepsi, a Coleman cooler, a neon Pepsi clock, a neon Pepsi surfboard sign, two kids’ basketball hoops and a Pepsi golf bag, plus 10 cases of water.
